Michael Fleming, 58, of New Castle, Ind., was charged by criminal complaint with one count of perjury and one count of making a materially false statement. He is the former director of the Henry County office of the Indiana Department of Child Services and a member of the New Castle Community School Corporation's school board.

HSI special agents arrested Rafael Cordero after they received information from the PRDP Sex Crimes Division in Ponce regarding a complaint made by the mother of a 14-year-old girl concerning sexually explicit images in the minor's Facebook account, as well as messages from Cordero requesting the photographs.

Talib Khan, 43, of Montreal, Quebec, and Barbados, pleaded guilty to conspiracy and sale of misbranded drugs. Between August 2009 and August 2013, Gallant Pharma smuggled and sold more than $12.4 million in non-FDA-approved chemotherapy drugs and injectable cosmetic drugs and devices, generating profits of $3.4 million.

Fredericus Hubertus Slicher, 77, of Baltimore, was sentenced March 7 by U.S. District Judge Richard D. Bennett to three months in prison followed by one year of supervised release. Judge Bennett also entered an order that Slicher pay restitution of $48,928 for social security and Medicare benefits unlawfully received.

Josue Rivera, 38, pleaded guilty to trafficking in counterfeit and unauthorized goods. As part of his plea agreement, Rivera paid $29,000 in restitution and forfeited two bank accounts worth approximately $79,000.

Aneudy Benitez-Martinez, 33, a citizen of the Dominican Republic, was sentenced March 6 in the Western District of Wisconsin. U.S. District Judge Lynn S. Adelman sentenced Benitez-Martinez to 21 months in prison for illegally re-entering the US after having been previously deported, and for being an illegal alien unlawfully possessing a firearm.

A search of a music school in Broward County, where Daniel Johnathan Gast worked as a teacher, resulted in the discovery of a computer belonging to Gast which, after a forensic analysis, yielded more than 95 video files depicting child pornography.

Kimihiko Makino, 40, pleaded guilty in June 2013 to advertising child pornography. According to the plea agreement, Makino admitted operating servers in San Francisco for a Japanese website known as 'Daio,' which advertised the sale of DVDs containing child pornography.
