Pedro Navarro Jr., the leader of a drug trafficking and money laundering organization operating near Zapata, Texas, pleaded guilty on Thursday for his role in moving marijuana and methamphetamines and laundering proceeds from drug sales. The case is a result of a three-year investigation by various federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.

Rigoberto Vargas-Munoz and his nephew, Edgar Munoz-Munoz, are Mexican nationals illegally present in the United States that were involved in a long-term narcotics conspiracy.

Three Guatemalan nationals were arrested yesterday in Lynn, Mass., by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO). The three are wanted by Guatemalan authorities for the rape and murder of a female.

A former Sacramento, Calif., couple, Mahendar Singh and Helen Jean Singh, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges stemming from a probe by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) into allegations they recruited teenage females and forced them to work as prostitutes.

Six of the seven members of an El Paso-based criminal organization that trafficked drugs and guns remain in federal custody after their arrest Nov. 30 by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and other agencies. Authorities seized about 160 pounds of marijuana and 10 firearms.

Shawn Marshal Christiansen of Great Bend, Kan., admitted that on Dec. 6, 2009, he recorded a live-streaming video in which he positioned a boy who was four to six years old in front of a Web camera and exposed the boy's genitals. Roose was arrested Tuesday by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents for allegedly attempting to sell military-grade rifle scopes overseas in violation of the Arms Export Control Act. Roose came to the attention of ICE HSI after he listed several restricted, military-grade rifle scopes for sale on eBay.

Houston attorney William Gammon was sentenced to 48 months in federal prison for possessing child pornography. The sentence resulted from an investigation conducted by U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). A forensic exam performed on two laptops seized at Gammon's residence revealed about 9,271 images of child pornography.

Two New Jersey men, Sanjay Anandani and Rohit Rohit, have been arrested for their roles in a conspiracy to import and traffic in counterfeit perfume. This investigation is being conducted by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Anandani and Rohit are alleged to have imported three shipping containers with counterfeit perfume.
