Tong Sun, 45, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Juan F. Alanis, who accepted his plea for possessing child sexual abuse material via his cell phone.
Kenneth Howard Worthy, 48, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool to 40 years in federal prison without parole.
David Alejandro Bautista, 32, was sentenced by a federal judge Dec. 14 to 240 months in federal prison. The judge also ordered Bautista to pay $84,000 restitution and special assessments in the amounts of $100, $5,000 and $35,000. He must also forfeit his electronic devices.
Sean Michael Kriss, a 40-year-old resident of Brazoria, was sentenced in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas to 30 years for the sexual exploitation of a child and 10 years in prison for possession of child sexual abuse material.
ICE ERO Philadelphia removed Felipe Javier Rivero Blanco, a citizen of Venezuela with a final order of removal, to Venezuela on Dec. 1.
Wilmer Rivera-Hernandez, a 33-year-old unlawfully present Honduran national, was sentenced in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas to 50 years in prison following his conviction on Aug. 24 for interstate travel with intent to engage in a sex act with a minor.

Edgar Aaron Hernandez pleaded guilty March 31. He admitted to requesting nude images from numerous child victims via a social media platform and engaged in this conduct while at work.

ERO New York City arrests previously deported Mexican citizen convicted of sexual assault of a child
On Nov. 22, ERO New York City arrested an unlawfully present Mexican citizen convicted by the Monmouth County Superior Court of New Jersey for the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a victim less than 13 years old.
Jonathan Travis Flora, 35, appeared before a federal judge on Nov. 28 and was sentenced to 168 months in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release for the receipt of child pornography.
Franklin Joseph Perkins, a 40-year-old resident of Alvin, was indicted Nov. 15 by a federal grand jury in the Southern District of Texas charging him with the transportation, receipt and possession of child pornography.
Marlon Zurita, 47, appeared before a federal judge on Nov. 8 and was sentenced to 136 months in prison followed by 20 years of supervised release. Zurita pleaded guilty Dec. 22 and admitted to receiving over 1,800 images and video files depicting child sexual abuse.
HSI Kansas City investigation leads to a former school employee pleading guilty to child porn charge
According to court documents, Eric Caleb Carlson, 43, of Wichita, admitted to downloading and receiving videos and images depicting prepubescent children subjected to sex acts.
James Dooly Pollock, 39, pleaded guilty in federal court on July 13, 2022, to production of a visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
According to court documents, Jesus Menjibar Salinas, 20, was arrested by Border Patrol agents east of Sierra Blanca on Oct. 3. An affidavit filed in a criminal complaint alleges that Salinas possessed a cellphone with photos and videos depicting child sexual abuse material stored within the device and in a messaging application.
The Peruvian national unlawfully entered the United States at an unknown place on an unknown date without being admitted or inspected by an immigration official. USBP encountered the noncitizen in March 2022 and issued him a notice to appear before a DOJ immigration judge.
Craig Allen Rhoden, 55, was sentenced by U.S. Chief District Judge Beth Phillips to 15 years in federal prison without parole. The court also ordered Rhoden to pay $150,000 in restitution to 30 victims and serve 15 years on supervised release following his incarceration.
U.S. District Court Judge Aida Delgado-Colon sentenced Angel Gabriel Diaz-Rosado, a youth basketball coach from Toa Baja, to 15 years in prison and 15 years of supervised release. HSI special agents arrested Diaz-Rosado in 2019 after he was charged with attempted production of child sexual abuse material, coercion and enticement of minors, and transfer of obscene material to a minor.
Sean Stevenson, 58, of San Diego, was scheduled to make his initial appearance before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mitchell Dembin Oct. 25, at 2 p.m.
