Juan Francisco Reyes-Ramos, 31, was sentenced Feb. 12 by U.S. Senior District Judge Joseph M. Hood in the Eastern District of Kentucky for distributing child pornography.

Carl Campbell was found guilty in federal court Monday on multiple counts of sex trafficking, including selling children for sex. Campbell assaulted one victim repeatedly over the course of about eight months in which he forced her to perform commercial sex acts in South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.

Jose Miranda, 46, a former mechanic with the El Paso Independent School District, was sentenced Friday to six years in federal prison and a lifetime of supervised release for receiving and possessing child pornography.

Troy Lee Curtis has been sentenced to 30 years in state prison after pleading guilty to charges that he received and shared child pornography, following a probe by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Edmundo Olivera, 68, was arrested at his place of residence in Reparto Metropolitano, San Juan, after a preliminary analysis of the materials seized by HSI during the execution of a search warrant at his residence revealed the presence of approximately 300 sexual explicit images of child pornography.

Margaret Ellen Jones, 37, of Parkville, Md., pleaded guilty Feb. 6 to conspiracy to produce child pornography, following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Baltimore County Police Department.

Letha Montemayor Tucker, the woman initially charged as 'Jane Doe' in a recent child pornography case is now also accused of child sex trafficking. ICE is again seeking the public's assistance in identifying the John Doe in this case.

An Iowa man was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in federal prison followed by a lifetime of supervised release after he pleaded guilty to two counts of receiving images of child pornography and transmitting obscene material to a minor under the age of 16 years old.

A Rhode Island man has pleaded guilty to producing child pornography outside of the United States, and subsequently transporting it back into the country. When sentenced, the man faces up to 30 years in federal prison and a lifetime of supervised release.

Hilton Cordero-Rosario, the former commissioner of the San Juan Police Department, pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography Friday. On Dec. 8, 2011, Cordero-Rosario was arrested by HSI special agents on production and possession of child pornography charges.

Roger Lee Loughry Sr., 57, of Baltimore, was found guilty Thursday by a federal jury, and was sentenced Friday to serve 30 years in prison for his participation in a global online child pornography conspiracy.

U.S. District Judge Micaela Alvarez accepted the guilty plea of Jose Alaniz-Allen, 22, and set sentencing for May 16. At that time, Alaniz-Allen faces up to 20 years in federal prison and a possible $250,000 fine. He will remain in custody pending his sentencing.

ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Washington, D.C., and state law enforcement partners investigated James Raymond Schimmel of Alexandria, Va., for engaging with a minor through the Internet and convincing the victim to meet in person for the purpose of engaging in criminal sexual activity.

Brock Boston and Leslie Woods face charges of producing sexually explicit videos of local minors and possessing child pornography. The victims were ages 4 and 16 when the alleged abuse took place.

Francisco Jose Cantu, 27, of Andrews, Texas, appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge David Counts Monday and admitted that in October 2012 he received images of child pornography via the Internet.

Nathan Brown was sentenced Tuesday to 60 years in federal prison for producing and possessing images and videos of child pornography. Between January 2010 and November 2011, Brown produced still images and videos of three different children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Christopher Daves, 26, of Albuquerque, was also sentenced to five years of supervised release after he completes his prison sentence; he also will be required to register as a sex offender.

Jesus Orta, 41, was sentenced to 110 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Janis Graham Jack. Orta must also serve a lifetime of supervised release after he completes his prison term. In handing down Orta's sentence, Jack noted his crime and his troubling history of employment, which placed him around children.

Bo B. Burdick, 21, of Trementon, Utah, pled guilty last August. According to the plea agreement, Burdick began an online relationship with a 13-year-old Idaho girl on Facebook. He admitted to trading sexually explicit photos with the girl and travelling to Idaho to have sex with her.

Richard D. Hendricks, a former Connecticut middle school teacher, was sentenced today to 121 months in federal prison for child sexual exploitation offenses. Hendricks paid for and viewed live webcasts showing the sexual abuse of children overseas, and voyeuristically photographed and videotaped female students in his classroom.

James Galen Brown, 40, admitted that he used his cell phone and its texting functions to intentionally send and receive images and videos of child pornography. U.S. District Judge Sam R. Cummings ordered Brown to surrender to the Bureau of Prisons March 1.
