Kerry Wayne Feaster was sentenced Friday to 20 years in federal following his guilty plea in February 2012 to one count of transporting child pornography. Feaster initiated text contact with an 11-year-old child. The child's parent saw the texts and contacted ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to pursue the investigation.

A federal jury convicted Charles Johnson June 14 for receipt and possession of child pornography, following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Baltimore. There were more than 300 images of child pornography on Johnson's computer.

Charles Leroy Earl pleaded guilty Tuesday to distributing child pornography, following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Forensic analysis of digital media seized from Earl revealed 63,152 images and 11,755 videos of child pornography. Earl had already served 12 years in prison for assaulting a child.

Romero Mendoza was arrested June 7 for sexually enticing a minor over the Internet. Mendoza used an online social networking application to attempt to meet for sex what he believed to be a 15-year-old boy. It was actually an undercover law enforcement officer posing as a minor as part of a joint investigation to locate online predators.

Clarence Robert Ward of Trinity, Texas pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender. Ward was convicted in 1998 of indecent contact with a minor in Polk County, Iowa. In March 2010, Ward moved to Texas. Ward failed to update his sex offender registration with the state of Iowa and register with the state of Texas.

Maksym Shynkarenko, a Ukrainian citizen who founded and operated a hardcore child pornography website, appeared in Newark federal court today to face child exploitation charges. He was extradited from Thailand over the weekend.

Jose Rene Alaniz was sentenced to 21 years and eight months in federal prison following his conviction for producing child pornography. Alaniz pleaded guilty to the charge March 1, admitting he used the name ""Jonathan Rendon"" as an alias to communicate with numerous children on Internet-based social networking sites.

Joseph Anthony Kallash was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting a minor to produce child pornography. Kallash met a 15-year-old victim on Facebook in November 2010, while representing himself as a teenager. Kallash picked up the victim and two of her friends, who had skipped school and brought them to his home.

Gary Romano of Norristown, Pa., was charged Monday with production and possession of child pornography, following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Romano was found to have molested a child that he was babysitting, produced images of the molestation, and distributed those images to other pedophiles.

Richard Dabrowski, a long-haul truck driver from Linden, N.J., was charged Friday with distribution of child pornography, following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Images from Dabrowski's computer included photographs of prepubescent children engaging in sexual activity and being sexually abused.

Corey James Loftin, 24, of El Cajon, Calif., admitted to the felony charges and agreed to a stipulated minimum sentence of 40 years in prison. The charges are subject to final acceptance by U.S. District Judge Janis L. Sammartino. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for August 24.

Alex J. Rosario, of Aibonito, Puerto Rico, was arrested by HSI special agents April 20, 2011, for possession of child pornography after a forensic analysis of the material seized during a March 17, 2011, search warrant revealed the presence of images depicting child pornography. The investigation stemmed from a referral by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Farrell Corrway, a citizen of Ireland, pleaded guilty to a federal charge of transportation of child pornography, following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Corrway admitted that on Sept. 7, 2010, he transported more than 600 images of child pornography into the state on an external hard drive.

Rey Vilanova-Delgado, 31, of Fajardo, Puerto Rico, was sentenced to 17 years and five months in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release. Felix Rodriguez-Acevedo, 32, of Caguas, Puerto Rico, and Zairo Ramos, 29, of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, were both sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by a period of supervised release of 15 years, and 15 years and eight months, respectively.
