Bryan W. Corbitt, a former Doernbecher Children's Hospital pediatric nurse connected to the online screen name 'Kidluver', was arrested on federal criminal charges Friday morning for possessing, receiving and distributing child pornography. The case is the result of a probe by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Adam Hammond of Climax Springs, Mo., who crashed his car while fleeing from his victim's mother, was sentenced to 20 years in prison Friday for producing child pornography and enticing a minor for illicit sex. James Armstrong Sparkman, of Garland, Texas faces a statutory sentence of not less than five or more than 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and up to a lifetime of supervised release. Sparkman, who remains in federal custody, is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge David C. Godbey on May 4.

Richard Flores, 58, came to HSI's attention after his employer reported to Seattle Police that Flores had downloaded child pornography onto his work computer. Investigators also found that Flores had been previously convicted in King County Superior Court of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes in connection with the molestation of two young girls.

Thomas Leroy Griffin, Jr. was sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing a child to produce child pornography following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Over the course of about six years until August 2010, Griffin engaged in filmed sexually explicit conduct with the victim.

Larry Orell Brumley of Silsbee, Texas was sentenced to 57 months in prison for possessing child pornography in the Eastern District of Texas, after an investigation conducted by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Brumley admitted to using the internet to download pornographic images, usually of females between the ages of 8 and 12.

A New Jersey man has been charged with distribution and possession of child pornography, including images of very young children participating in sexually explicit conduct with adults, as outlined in an indictment by the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Paul J. Fishman.

Jerry Louis Tintsman, 69, of San Diego, was sentenced Monday in federal court by U.S. District Court Judge Roger T. Benitez. At the hearing, Judge Benitez told Tintsman, "This is one of the longest sentences I have ever imposed, and you sir, are deserving of it."

Scott Smallwood pleaded guilty earlier today to two counts of producing child pornography following an investigation led by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Smallwood inadvertently left a microSD card containing sexually explicit videos on the counter of a 7-11 store located in Clinton, Md., which was found and provided to police.

Okey Belcher, a plain-clothed loss prevention officer formerly employed at a Columbus-area Walmart, pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography. Belcher was initially arrested in December 2011 by Grove City Police Department officers after he allegedly recorded cellphone video of a child in a Walmart restroom.

Matthew Alter, 47, of Wichita, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to one count of possessing child pornography. At the plea hearing, prosecutors told the court that Alter became the subject of an investigation after Italian State Police provided information that a computer user in Kansas was accessing a child pornography website.

William Cannon of Springdale, Ark., was sentenced Monday to 70 years in federal prison for production and receipt of child pornography, after a city fire marshal reported he had discovered a child pornography operation while doing a routine fire inspection.

According to the complaint, Yang, a teacher at Freedom Elementary within the Clovis Unified School District, allegedly used his cell phone to record his sexual abuse of a minor on multiple occasions, between January 3 and January 26.
