Corbitt, a former Doernbecher Children's Hospital pediatric nurse connected to the online screen name 'Kidluver', was arrested on federal criminal charges Friday morning for possessing, receiving and distributing child pornography. James Armstrong Sparkman, of Garland, Texas faces a statutory sentence of not less than five or more than 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and up to a lifetime of supervised release. Sparkman, who remains in federal custody, is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge David C. Godbey on May 4.

Richard Flores, 58, came to HSI's attention after his employer reported to Seattle Police that Flores had downloaded child pornography onto his work computer. The ensuing HSI investigation led to the discovery of 6,800 pornographic images and videos. Investigators also found that Flores had been previously convicted in King County Superior Court of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes in connection with the molestation of two young girls.

Jerry Louis Tintsman, 69, of San Diego, was sentenced Monday in federal court by U.S. District Court Judge Roger T. Benitez. At the hearing, Judge Benitez told Tintsman, "This is one of the longest sentences I have ever imposed, and you sir, are deserving of it."

Scott Smallwood pleaded guilty earlier today to two counts of producing child pornography following an investigation led by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Smallwood inadvertently left a microSD card containing sexually explicit videos on the counter of a 7-11 store located in Clinton, Md., which was found and provided to police.

Okey Belcher, a plain-clothed loss prevention officer formerly employed at a Columbus-area Walmart, pleaded guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography. Belcher was initially arrested in December 2011 by Grove City Police Department officers after he allegedly recorded cellphone video of a child in a Walmart restroom.

Matthew Alter, 47, of Wichita, pleaded guilty Jan. 31 to one count of possessing child pornography. At the plea hearing, prosecutors told the court that Alter became the subject of an investigation after Italian State Police provided information that a computer user in Kansas was accessing a child pornography website.

According to the complaint, Yang, a teacher at Freedom Elementary within the Clovis Unified School District, allegedly used his cell phone to record his sexual abuse of a minor on multiple occasions, between January 3 and January 26.
