U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents, working jointly with Martin County Sheriff's Office (MCSO), arrested Jeannie Biggs, 61, of Port St. Lucie on April 6 for possession of child pornography.
ICE serves on the Virtual Global Taskforce (VGT), one of the world's largest international child protection taskforces.
Robert Emmet Horn, 45, was sentenced to 80 months in federal prison on April 8 by U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone, after he pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography on Nov. 22. A federal grand jury returned an indictment on Oct. 29, 2010 charging Horn with child pornography violations.
Matthew R. Fisher, 33, teaches at Reynoldsburg High School and coaches the district's eighth-grade girls basketball team. HSI agents and Franklin County ICAC officers executed the search warrant, seized a computer and charged Fisher in a federal complaint. Stephen W. Siktberg, 32, was arrested by HSI agents on Oct. 29, 2010, at his home in Beacon, N.Y. He entered his guilty pleas before U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisa Margaret Smith in White Plains.
A Nebraska resident was sentenced Tuesday to 8.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to engaging in a child exploitation enterprise. The case was investigated U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Department of Justice's High Technology Investigative Unit of the Criminal Division's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section.
Robert J. Kloss, Jr., 37, of Pittsburgh, has been detained on federal child pornography charges, following an investigation by U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Pensacola Police Department.
Gabriel Rios, 20, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was convicted April 1 on eight counts of possessing child pornography, and he was acquitted of two counts of receiving and distributing child pornography. The verdicts came after three days of trial testimony from both law enforcement and civilian witnesses.

Brendan O'Neill, 35, of Tampa, pleaded guilty Tuesday to sex trafficking of a child and attempted enticement of a child for sex. He faces a maximum penalty of life in federal prison for each charge.
Roy Walsh, 39, formerly of Jasper, Tenn., now residing in Lenoir City was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court to serve 200 months in prison and to pay $3 million in restitution to two victims in a child pornography case investigated by ICE's HSI, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Criminal Investigative Division.
Gary J. Hibler, 46, of Pierceville, Kan., was sentenced March 25 in the District of Kansas to 262 months in federal prison without parole. Hibler pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography. He initially was charged in a criminal complaint filed Aug. 26, 2010.
Kenneth Robert McVicker III, 46, entered a not-guilty plea, and was detained pending trial on May 24 before U.S. District Judge James A. Redden. ICE HSI agents took custody of McVicker Wednesday in the Central American country of Belize.
Law enforcement located Buddy Anderson, 39, and his wife, Sharon Lee Anderson, 38, early this month at a homeless shelter in Las Vegas where they had absconded to after leaving their apartment in Ennis in February. They were arrested on related state charges and returned to Ennis.
Eric Wayne Tindall, 51, originally came to the attention of ICE HSI in the summer of 2010 while agents investigated a commercial child pornography website. Tindall later responded to a fake advertisement created by law enforcement agents, which offered to sell child pornography movies.
Frank L. Burdick, 51, was sentenced to 135 months in prison on March 22 by U.S. District Court Judge John D. Rainey. Burdick's prison time will be followed by a 10-year-term of supervised release, with a number of special conditions designed to protect children and prohibit the use of the Internet.
Kevin Weiner, 42, was arrested March 23 and charged in a criminal complaint with attempting to sexually coerce and entice a minor by computer. The complaint alleges that Weiner placed a craigslist ad entitled "Older looking to suck younger." Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) officers responded to the ad and scheduled a face-to-face meeting with Weiner.
Donald Means has been in custody since his arrest in November 2009 on a related federal criminal complaint. He is a registered sex offender, having been convicted in the Eastern District of Texas in December 2002 on one count each of possessing and receiving child pornography.
U.S. ICE's Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) agents on Wednesday deported a Mexican national who is suspected of raping a 6-year-old girl, who later died as a result, in Mexico in 1997. He was escorted to the border and handed over to Mexican federal officials to face these charges after he evaded Mexican courts for more than 14 years.
A U.S. Army Reserve soldier, who was assigned as an assistant to a U.S. Army chaplain, was arrested Monday on child pornography charges.
