Daniel Cox, 45, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court, Western District of Pennsylvania on July 21, 2010 to one count of conspiracy to distribute and receive child pornography. According to court documents and proceedings, Cox and others distributed images and videos of children being sexually abused to other members of an international group that had restricted membership and was formed on a social networking website.

Richard Self was found guilty by a jury of three felony counts of transporting child pornography and three felony counts of possessing child pornography in November 2010. ICE HSI agents opened an investigation after they discovered Self had subscribed to an online service that sold child pornography images over the Internet.

Specifically, following a two-day trial before U.S. District Judge Jorge A. Solis, the jury found Harvey James Pelland, of Big Spring, Texas, guilty on two counts of possessing child pornography and five counts of receiving a visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Sentencing has been set for June 6 in Abilene.

A Mars Hill, Maine, woman was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Bangor to twenty years in prison and ten years of supervised release for child pornography production following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Robert Davis Williams, 45, of Jacksonville, was charged with knowingly receiving visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct over the Internet.

According to court records, in 2004, Omar Rashaad Bey, 33, entered into what he claimed was an Islamic marriage with a 14-year old girl in Philadelphia. He did not obtain a marriage license, nor did he obtain court permission to do so, as Pennsylvania law required. He then took the girl to Egypt, where she lived with him, at times alone, while he studied.

Richard Donald Lieberman, 64, of Washington, D.C., was charged by the State of Florida Attorney's Office with two counts of receiving online statements for the purpose of sexual conduct with a child, two counts of using the computer to seduce a child, one count of transmitting harmful material to minors and one count of lewd or lascivious battery.

Larry Pike, 40, of Balch Springs, Texas, has been in federal custody since his arrest in late August 2010 on related charges outlined in a federal criminal complaint. In addition, Pike was ordered to forfeit to the government the extensive inventory of computers and computer-related equipment that was seized during the investigation.

Kenneth Eugene Haynes, 60, of Gulf Breeze, Fla., was sentenced in federal court Thursday for attempting to entice a minor female over the Internet and traveling to Alabama to engage in sexual activity with her.

Michael James Sheets, 45, of Kansas City, Mo., pleaded guilty March 9 to the charges contained in a June 15, 2010 federal indictment.

James Eddy, 34, of Chesapeake, Va., pleaded guilty today to one count of possession of child pornography.

Shawn Marshal Christiansen, 36, of Great Bend, Kan., is charged with one count of producing and one count of possessing child pornography. The crimes allegedly occurred from April 27, 2009 to Jan. 8, 2010 in Great Bend.

Jack Zimmerman, a 57-year-old man from Irving Texas, was sentenced on Thursday to 30 years in federal prison for one count of enticing a minor and one count of producing child pornography. Zimmerman admitted that he used a cell phone to persuade, induce and entice a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity with him inside his van.

Robert William Hull, of Nampa, Idaho, pleaded guilty in federal court here Tuesday. Court documents reveal that during November 2010, detectives with the Saskatoon Police Service in Saskatchewan, Canada, conducted an Internet child exploitation investigation involving a Saskatchewan suspect.

Thomas Neal, 41, of Roseville, Calif., pleaded guilty to possessing and receiving visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. In entering his guilty plea, Neal admitted that in February 2010, he possessed a computer hard drive and several computer disks containing more than 800 still images and more than 200 videos, each of which showed minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

Joseph Acevedo-Maldonado, 48, of Utuado, Puerto Rico, was sentenced on Feb. 20 to 25 years in prison for production of videos involving minors engaging in sexual acts produced with the assistance of his wife, Jennise Lopez-Correa. The sentence resulted from an investigation by U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

Daniel James Broussard, 22, of Tulsa, Okla., former assistant manager of the Grand Theater in Lafayette, was sentenced today in federal court to 40 years in prison and lifetime of supervised release for using a facility in interstate commerce attempting to coerce a minor to engage in criminal sexual acts.

Douglas Lee Ebersbach, 51, was charged in a three-count indictment filed Oct. 25, 2010. After a three-day trial, the jury returned a verdict of guilty on all three counts of the indictment.

Steven Demink, 41, of Redford, Mich., was indicted by a federal grand jury in November on 13 counts related to the sexual exploitation of children, U.S. Attorney Barbara L. McQuade announced.
