Matthew Aukamp, 44, was sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Michael P. McCuskey on Feb. 22 to 300 months in federal prison. Aukamp, of Macon, Ill., was also ordered to a lifetime of supervised release following his prison term. Aukamp was previously employed as an officer with the Decatur, Ill., Police Department.

Timothy Dwayne Glenn, 44, was sentenced Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Anthony W. Ishii. Glenn, who has been in custody since December 30, 2010, pleaded guilty to the charges January 11.

Darryl Owen Walizer, 43, of Las Vegas, was convicted Thursday of coercion and enticement of a minor and commission of a felony sex offense by an individual required to register as a sex offender. The charges are the result of an investigation by ICE HSI.

Teich, 32, of Lafayette, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for distribution of child pornography, following an investigation by U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Lafayette Police Department (LPD). He was identified during an investigation by the LPD using a file sharing software to possess child pornography.

Timothy Sorrell, 63, of Panama City, was indicted Tuesday for the receipt and possession of child pornography, following an investigation being conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Bay County Sheriff's Office (BCSO).

Fred Woolum of Lexington, Va., was sentenced Feb. 15 in the Western District of Pennsylvania to 15 years in prison for engaging in a child exploitation enterprise, Operation Goodbye, a multi-year ICE HSI cyber investigation based in Pittsburgh, specifically targeted the predator group Woolum was engaged with.

Derek Jerome Pitre, 58, of Clovis, Calif., was sentenced Friday by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. O'Neill to 17 years and one month in prison for receiving child pornography. In a second unrelated investigation, Anthony Bernard Ellrodt, 38, of Bakersfield, Calif., pleaded guilty Friday before Judge O'Neill to possession of child pornography.

Ryan Chiles of Hampton, Va., was sentenced Feb. 11, 2011 to 102 months in prison for engaging in a child exploitation enterprise. Chiles and others distributed images and videos of children being sexually abused to other members of an international group that had restricted membership and was formed on a social networking website.

Joshua Robert Starnes, 23, of Olympia, Wash., was sentenced Friday in U.S. District Court in Tacoma for transportation of child pornography. Starnes was arrested by the WSP on December 31, 2009, after a story he wrote about raping young boys was posted on an Internet site.

Kevin Fuller, 41, of Oak Park, was sentenced Feb. 9 by U.S. District Judge Ruben Castillo, Northern District of Illinois, to 72 months in prison. He was further ordered to register as a sex offender and will serve a lifetime of supervised release after he completes his prison sentence.

Merideth faces a statutory maximum sentence of not less than five or more than 30 years in prison, and a $500,000 fine. Sentencing is set for May 23 before U.S. District Judge Terry R. Means.

According to the indictment, complaint and testimony from the detention hearing, from Sept. 18, 2008 to Dec. 14, 2010, Jerry Wayne Valek, 35, using the name of "Jessica Villerra," and representing himself on his Facebook profile to be a 25-year-old Dallas resident, enticed three young men, under the age of 18, to send him sexually explicit images of themselves.

Ruben A. Santos-Rodriguez was arrested at his residence in Condominio El Monte for allegedly sending inappropriate messages via e-mail and Facebook to a 13-year-old female minor. Santos-Rodriguez faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, if found guilty.

Jason Haldeman, 37, of Landenberg, Pa., was indicted by a federal grand jury Feb. 1, 2011, on one count of transportation of child pornography. Haldeman was identified by ICE HSI agents in Delaware during an online investigation into a computer network devoted to trading images of child pornography.
