Rex Sistos, 38, from Dallas was sentenced Dec. 18 by U.S. District Judge Sidney A. Fitzwater to 240 months in federal prison.
Steven Richard Smasal, 48, from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was sentenced on one count of traveling abroad to engage in illicit sexual conduct. Smasal pleaded guilty to the charge July 24.
Noel Aquino-Florenciani, 37, and Luis Angel Rivera-Reyes, 20, both of Manati, were arrested without incident at their places of residence for their alleged possession and production of child pornography.
Minh Thong, 32, of Denver, was first charged by Criminal Complaint Jan. 20, 2014. He was then indicted by a federal grand jury Jan. 27, 2014. He pleaded guilty before Judge Robert E. Blackburn Aug. 14, 2015.
According to the charges, Clinton Hayden, aka Showtime, 28, recruited, enticed and transported two minors from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to New York to engage in commercial sex acts between May and December of this year. Hayden was taken into custody on Dec. 3, 2015 in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Angel David Acevedo-Sandoval, 34, a former math teacher of seventh and 10th grade students at a private school in Toa Baja was arrested at his place of residence following a federal search warrant that revealed the presence of child pornography in his computer.
According to court documents, beginning as early as 2005, William Henry Keehn, II, 52, of Eustis, hid video cameras in the bathrooms of his former residence in order to obtain naked images of four minors in his custody.
Alan Douglas Eslinger, 44, of Grand Forks, was sentenced to 192 months in federal prison following his convictions on one count of receiving child pornography and three counts of possessing child pornography.
A south Texas man was sentenced Thursday to 17 years in federal prison following his conviction for receiving child pornography.
Frank Russell McCoy, 72, of Otsego, Minnesota, was found guilty by a jury of possessing child pornography, following a two-day trial.
West Texas man sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for producing and receiving child pornography
Paul Joseph Koestle, 33, of Abilene, Texas, pleaded guilty to one count of producing child pornography and one count of receiving child pornography.
Charles Heath Stewart, 43, of Grand Ridge, was convicted Aug. 21, 2015, after the government presented evidence that, on three occasions, in September, October and November 2013, Stewart knowingly produced child pornography when he coerced a child to engage in sexually explicit conduct with Stewart for the purpose of creating a visual depiction.
Rogelio Jesus Martinez, 22, was sentenced to 188 months in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge Janis Graham Jack. Martinez will also spend the rest of his life on supervised release and must register as a sex offender.
David Scott Fikani, 62, from Abilene, has been in federal custody since September 2015 when U.S. Magistrate Judge E. Scott Frost determined Fikani violated certain terms of his pretrial release and ordered him detained.
Five of those arrested are Peruvian citizens. They face charges for human trafficking of minors, pimping and pandering. The remaining individual, Joshua David Brown, a U.S. citizen, is alleged to have facilitated sex tourism and exploitation of children.
Oscar Herrera III, 42, of Laredo, was sentenced Dec. 8 to serve the maximum 10 years in federal prison following his conviction for possessing child pornography.
Fidel Perales-Castillo, 44, of Laredo, was sentenced Dec. 8 by U.S. District Judge Marina Garcia Marmolejo to 121 months in federal prison. Judge Marmolejo took into consideration that Perales-Castillo possessed child pornography depicting children younger than 12 years of age.
Daren Richard Coen, 69, from Elkhart, Kansas, pleaded guilty to two counts of distributing child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
Kurt Eichert, 51, of Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, was charged today by indictment with one count of production of child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.
Andrew Berko, 45, has been in custody since his arrest in April on a related federal criminal complaint.
Lee Robert Moore, 37, was employed by the U.S. Secret Service-Uniformed Division and was assigned to the White House at the time of his arrest, Nov. 9, 2015, and has remained in custody since that time.
Robert Wayne Collins, 62, of Kingsville, Texas, pleaded guilty Dec. 1 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Janice B. Ellington. The court heard that authorities, while using peer-to-peer file-sharing software, were able to successfully download various files containing child pornography from an Internet Protocol address that was associated with Collins.
Sean Patrick Mciver, 28, was sentenced to 72 months in prison by Senior U.S. District Judge John D. Rainey. McIver was further ordered to serve 10 years of supervised release after he completes his prison term, during which time he will have to comply with numerous requirements designed to restrict his access to children and the Internet. He will also be ordered to register as a sex offender. Mciver pleaded guilty to the charges Aug. 3.
Kansas man sentenced to 6½ years in federal prison for possessing 16,000 images of child pornography
James E. McGary, 43, of Garden City, Kansas, previously pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography. In his plea, he admitted that in October 2012 his computer was identified by law enforcement as sharing child pornography on a file-sharing network.
Billy Wynn Jr., 32, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, was also sentenced by U. S. District Judge Ralph R. Erickson to serve 20 years of supervised release and to pay a $200 special assessment to the Crime Victims’ Fund.
