Darren Eugene Schaefer, 36, of Marionville, Missouri, pleaded guilty to using the Internet and a cellphone to attempt to entice a minor to engage in illicit sexual activity.
According to court documents, Aaron Bicknell, 28, of Zephyrhills, used an Internet file sharing program to download child pornography. After a search warrant was executed at his residence, he was found to be in possession of more than 3,500 images depicting child pornography, including more than 150 images depicting sadomasochistic conduct. Bicknell pleaded guilty March 18.
Michael S. Golden, 53, of Downsville, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Robert G. James on one count of production of child pornography. He was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release and ordered to register as a sex offender upon his release from prison.
Kelly Dan Williams, 62, a special needs instructor at Mansfield (Texas) Independent School District’s (ISD) Mary Orr Intermediate School was arrested Friday on the federal offense.
According to documents filed in the case, on Oct. 25, Larry Richie Fields, 45, of Wingate, Texas, who has been in federal custody since his arrest in January, used the Internet to transport two images of child pornography using an online social networking service.
John Terruso, 44, of Marlton, New Jersey, chief of the Audubon Park (New Jersey) Volunteer Fire Company, was arrested Wednesday night on state charges of second-degree distribution of child pornography and third-degree possession of child pornography.
Jeremy Joseph Nelson, 42, of Madison County, previously pleaded guilty in February to producing child pornography between 2012 and 2014, possessing child pornography depicting children under the age of 12, and distributing child pornography.
Raymond Edward Russ Jr., 47, of Kountze, Texas, was sentenced June 2 by U.S. District Judge Thad Heartfield to 120 months in federal prison for coercion and enticement involving the sexual exploitation of a child. Russ was indicted by a federal grand jury June 24, 2014; he pleaded guilty to the charges Oct. 17.
A criminal information was filed charging Marc Accardi, 42, with receiving and distributing child pornography. It alleges he used a cell phone and a computer to download and distribute images of child pornography from March through May 2015.
Matthew C. Harbin, 29, of Arab, Alabama, was arrested Tuesday in Cameron County, Texas, while living under an assumed identity.
Patrick Newman, 33, appeared June 2 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Dave Whalin. He is charged with engaging in unlawful online communications with a 13-year-old male (“John Doe”) using the social media applications VINE and KIK. Newman illegally used a means or facility of interstate commerce to knowingly persuade, induce, entice or coerce John Doe to engage in sex.
Lucas J. Reinmann, 35, of Boonton, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty, on Jan. 15, 2015, to one count of knowingly receiving images of child pornography over the internet.
Hector Diaz-Luciano, 44, of Yauco, and Juan Ortiz-Rios, 37, of Gurabo, were arrested Friday and Monday, respectively, following an HSI investigation that revealed they used a peer-to-peer (P2P) network to download sexually explicit images and videos depicting child pornography.
George Deleon, 65, of Cuero, was sentenced to 120 months in federal prison, the statutory maximum, which is to be immediately followed by 15 years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty to the charges March 2.
Justin Kinney, 26, of Newark, pleaded guilty to two counts of producing child pornography. Kinney was previously arrested and charged by federal complaint on April 20, 2014.
Patrick T. Deck, 54, of Watchung, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty on Sept. 16, 2014, to two counts of transportation of child pornography.
Caleb Dean Eccles, 32, of Lake Tapps, faces a 25-year mandatory minimum sentence.
U.S. District Judge Martin Reidinger sentenced Patrick Ronald Silva, 44, of Burnsville, to more than 21 years in prison on production of child pornography charges. Judge Reidinger also sentenced Robert George Ross Thursday on child pornography charges.
Eric Worrell, 57, of Rancho Cordova, has been in federal custody since his arrest March 19. Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Josh F. Sigal is prosecuting the case.
Andrew Harrison Fowler, 25, of Murrieta, a convicted sex offender who is on parole for having unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, has been charged in federal court for allegedly distributing child pornography over the Internet.
Miguel Torres, 45, of Waterbury, Connecticut, was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Bridgeport for enticing a minor. According to court documents and statements made in court, Torres met a minor female at the church they both attended.
Derrick Gossett, 34, from Humble, Texas, was sentenced May 26 by U.S. District Judge Lynn Hughes to 180 months in federal prison, which is to be followed by 180 months of supervised release. Gossett must also register as a sex offender. At the time of the offense, he was a music teacher at Anderson Elementary School in the Spring ISD. Gossett pleaded guilty to producing child pornography Aug. 4, 2014.
Manuel Fernandez, 34, of Wayne, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty to one count of distributing images of child pornography over the Internet.
HSI special agents arrested Wally Irizarry Sisco, 60, of Ponce, for transporting an 11-year-old minor to a local motel in Juana Diaz for sex. In a similar, but separate, case, José E. Montalvo-Febus, 30, of Guayama, was arrested for illegally transporting a 13-year-old, now 17, to a secluded area and to local motels to engage in criminal sexual activity.
Gamaliel Cortez-Mendoza, 43, of Laredo, pleaded guilty May 26 to possessing child pornography and failing to register as a sex offender. Cortez-Mendoza was arrested in January following an investigation by the Laredo Child Exploitation Task Force.
