During each of the past two weeks, we have conducted over thirty repatriation flights transporting thousands of individuals back to their country of origin and have repatriated over five thousand individuals directly to Mexico.

An HSI Space Coast investigation led to the removal of Pedro Paulo Barrientos Nunez, a denaturalized U.S. citizen, to his home country of Chile on Nov. 30, 2023, by ICE's ERO Miami.

On Dec. 1, ERO New York City announced the arrest of a Dominican national convicted of sexual abuse in the first degree of a victim less than 13 where the defendant is 21 or older.

Deportation officers from ERO Boston’s Foreign Fugitive Apprehension Unit apprehended the 62-year-old citizen of Brazil who has been sought by Brazilian law enforcement authorities since his conviction for rape of a vulnerable child earlier this year.

Jose Gonzalez-Flores, 33, an undocumented noncitizen from Guatemala, received the prison sentence at the U.S. District Court in Richmond Nov. 20.

On Nov. 22, ERO New York City arrested an unlawfully present Mexican citizen convicted by the Monmouth County Superior Court of New Jersey for the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a victim less than 13 years old.

Officers with ICE's ERO Seattle field office removed Pedro Jose Torres-Moran, 44, a citizen of Nicaragua who is wanted by authorities in his home country on charges related to murder, Nov. 16.

Local authorities recently arrested and charged the Brazilian national with strangulation and assault and battery in Brockton.

Noncitizens who lack a lawful basis to stay in the United States will be removed, consistent with U.S. law.

Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Boston arrested an unlawfully present Guatemalan national in Lynn on Nov. 21. Local authorities had recently charged him with assault and battery and rape.

ERO Philadelphia removed Arif Ugur, a citizen of Turkey with a final order of removal, to Turkey on Nov. 20, 2023.

The Guatemalan national entered the United States on an unknown date at an unknown location without being admitted, inspected or paroled by an immigration official.

Today, ICE, working in coordination with DHS and CBP facilitated removal flights, including single adults and family units to Venezuela, Central America, Colombia and Ecuador.

ERO Washington, D.C. arrested an undocumented noncitizen who was convicted of crimes against a Virginia minor. Deportation officers from ERO Washington D.C.’s Mobile Criminal Apprehension Team apprehended the 26-year-old Guatemalan national in Falls Church, Virginia, Nov. 6.

ERO New York City arrested an unlawfully present Salvadoran citizen Nov. 8 who is wanted in El Salvador for terror-related activity. The foreign fugitive is a known 18th Street gang member and an active member of the Colombia Little Cycos Surenos clique.

ERO Boston arrested an undocumented Brazilian sex offender Nov. 14 on Martha’s Vineyard. Deportation officers from ERO Boston’s Fugitive Operations Team South apprehended the 37-year-old noncitizen near his residence in West Tisbury. The Brazilian national is wanted by authorities in his home country for failure to serve a prison sentence for raping a 5-year-old child.

Luis Cristano Rosales-Estacio, 47, was flown via ICE Air from Denver International Airport to Jorge Chavez International Airport in Callao, Peru, where he was turned over to the proper authorities.

Noncitizens who lack a lawful basis to stay in the United States will be removed, consistent with U.S. law. In keeping with standard practice, the United States ensures that all noncitizens, including Venezuelan nationals, without a legal basis to remain in the United States, are properly screened for valid protection claims and withholding of removal in accordance with our laws and U.S. international obligations.

ERO New York City arrested a citizen of Turkey convicted of acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 years old in full satisfaction of the following criminal charges: criminal sexual act in the first degree of a victim less than 11 years old; and sexual abuse in the first degree: sexual contact with an individual less than 11 years old. He was convicted on Aug. 9, by the Suffolk County First District Court.

On Nov. 16, Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Chicago Field Office Director LaDeon Francis announced the results of a local enforcement operation conducted between Oct. 23 – Nov. 3 during which officers apprehended 44 removable noncitizens determined to be a threat to national security, public safety or border security.

ERO Houston, with assistance from ERO Mexico and the SAFE Task Force, removed two unlawfully present foreign fugitives from the United States to Mexico on Nov. 15.

Individuals who lack a lawful basis to stay in the United States are ordered removed, consistent with U.S. law. All individuals who are removed have been screened for protection concerns.

The 52-year-old citizen of Jamaica, who has been unlawfully present in the United States for more than two years, was arrested by local police on two counts of rape and one count of assault to rape. He was arraigned in the Falmouth District Court in Falmouth, Massachusetts on Oct. 27.
