HSI’s Operation Youngblood update: 1 more subject arrested, only 4 subjects still at large
SAN JUAN — Homeland Security Investigations San Juan, along with the Puerto Rico Police Bureau and the U.S. Marshals Service, arrested Shaquille Emmanuel Rivera–De Jesus, one of the fugitives of HSI’s Operation Youngblood executed on Sept. 22, 2023. Rivera-De Jesus was one of the five subjects still at large and a member of the criminal organization Hasta los Marcian.
At the time of the arrest, special agents seized 220 bags of crack, 105 crack capsules, 174 grams of crack, five bags of marijuana and $1,783 in cash from the subject’s residence in Manati.
There are now only four fugitives out of the 42 indicted, including: Joshua Siragusa-Romero, Christopher Maldonado-Lopez, Christian Maldonado-Lopez and Christopher Alberto Centeno.
“All cases are important to the United States Marshals and our investigations never stop. The main mission is bringing fugitives to justice,” said U.S. Marshal Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra. “Rivera-De Jesus did not only think he could escape justice, but continued to commit crimes and threaten our communities, which will not be tolerated. Our deputies, along with HSI, the FBI and the Puerto Rico Police Bureau worked together on this case. Today we can report to our great people of the Municipality of Manati and neighboring towns that this violent offender is off the streets. We will continue to be the watchmen for all those thinking they will never be brought to justice.”
