ICE HSI Douglas, law enforcement partners arrest alleged narcotics dealer in Southern Arizona

DOUGLAS, Ariz. - Last week, multiple law enforcement agencies to include U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Douglas Police Department’s Special Response Team and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) executed a search warrant at 860 E. 13th Street and arrested one female on state drug related charges.

Yesenia Yasmin Ysea, of Douglas, was arrested March 9 at her apartment by law enforcement who also seized multiple “M-30” pills known to contain fentanyl, a crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine, multiple items of drug paraphernalia indicative of drug use and sales.

The arrest and seizure is the result of an investigation into Ysea’s alleged involvement of narcotic sales. The several months probe which resulted in the arrest and seizure stemmed from several months of collaborative investigative work from state, local and federal agencies.

Ysea was booked at the Cochise County Jail on charges of possession of a narcotic drug for sale, possession of a dangerous drug for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, sales of a narcotic drug in a drug free school zone, sales of a dangerous drug in a drug free school zone, and use of a wire communication devise for a drug transaction.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
