ICE unveils online portal to streamline noncitizen immigration obligations
WASHINGTON – Today, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) launched the ICE Portal, a public-facing website that centralizes communications between noncitizens and the federal government. Within this online portal, noncitizens can schedule appointments, update their address, and check immigration court hearing information in a consolidated location. This portal is part of ICE’s efforts to modernize, streamline, and encourage compliance with immigration enforcement processes. Compliance with required ICE check-ins remains high; this portal will further encourage compliance with immigration enforcement processes by streamlining and modernizing the system and making it easier for noncitizens to use.
The ICE Portal incorporates previous online capabilities like ICE’s Appointment Scheduler and change of address tool. It also allows noncitizens to look up information regarding upcoming immigration court hearings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR). Starting today, any noncitizen can go directly to https://portal.ice.gov to access these services.
ICE takes every effort to protect the privacy of individuals throughout the immigration process. Except for login information used to create an account, the ICE Portal does not collect other personally identifiable information provided by an individual when using ICE’s digital services.
