Readout of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement meeting with American Immigration Council

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement leadership met with members of the American Immigration Council today. Efforts to engage between non-governmental organizations and the federal government serves to increase transparency, understanding, and cooperation across shared interests. Ultimately this engagement provides understanding and awareness of agency operations and provides a forum for dialog and collaboration.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement engages with stakeholders nationwide, including state, local, tribal, territorial governments, elected officials, and law enforcement, the private sector, faith-based organizations and colleges and universities.
