Readout of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement meeting with San Antonio Mayor
WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement leadership and Department of Homeland Security Office of Partnership and Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs met with Mayor Ron Nirenberg of San Antonio this week. Engagement with state and local partners from around the country is imperative to increase understanding and awareness for agency operations, particularly as it pertains to an individual locality. The opportunity to collaborate across shared values ultimately benefits the communities we jointly serve.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement engages with stakeholders nationwide, including state, local, tribal, territorial governments, elected officials, and law enforcement, the private sector, faith-based organizations and colleges and universities.
