US Immigration and Customs Enforcement concludes participation at the National Sheriffs’ Association Winter Conference

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement joined the National Sheriffs’ Association this week at their annual Winter Conference providing updates on multiple operational aspects of the agency’s mission. As part of the Border Security Committee meeting, Enforcement and Removal Operations provided an operational update on interior immigration enforcement. Homeland Security Investigations provided a national security update to the Homeland Security Committee and an update on cross border financial crimes and tools for local enforcement to assist victims to the Government Affairs Committee. The DHS Center for Countering Human Trafficking and the Blue Campaign provided updates on victim-centric policies and procedures to the Crime Victim Committee.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement engages with stakeholders nationwide, including state, local, tribal, territorial governments, elected officials, and law enforcement, the private sector, faith-based organizations and colleges and universities.
