Deportation officers from ERO Baltimore’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Raul Orlando Ramos-Guido July 1 near his residence in Annapolis.

Eduardo Jacob Cuencas Vivar, 41, departed via ground transportation and arrived at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Upon arrival he was turned over to proper authorities in Mexico.

ERO Boston arrested an Ecuadorian fugitive wanted in his home country to face charges of raping of a minor and invasion of privacy.

ERO Boston apprehended a 23-year-old Guatemalan national convicted of manslaughter. Deportation officers from ERO Boston’s Hartford field office arrested Manuel Fernando Alejandor-Martinez June 7 in Durham.

ERO Boston apprehended a 23-year-old Dominican native charged with trafficking cocaine, distribution of cocaine, possession of cocaine and carrying a dangerous weapon. Deportation officers arrested Jose Abel Polanco-Ramirez May 31 in Milford.

ICE leadership met with LaSalle Corrections officials to discuss operational requirements and the agency’s continuing mission to promote health and welfare in detention facilities.

Officials from ICE and HSI participated in the National Sheriff’s Association’s annual conference in Oklahoma City this week, providing briefings and leading sessions on the agency’s efforts in combating drug trafficking, enhancing border security, and addressing trends in money laundering and retail crime.

ERO's NFOP, in coordination with the HRVWCC of HSI and ICE’s OPLA, worked with ERO in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, El Paso, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York, Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco and St. Paul to identify, locate and apprehend the known or suspected human rights violators.

These removal flights were destined to Brazil, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, and Peru.

Given recent changes in legislation and the evolving situation at the nation’s southwest border, it’s increasingly important for ICE officials to meet with concerned members of the public, including groups that advocate for migrants’ rights.

ICE engages with stakeholders nationwide, including domestic governments, law enforcement agencies and elected officials.

Deportation officers from ERO Washington, D.C.’s Richmond field office apprehended the 25-year-old Salvadoran noncitizen June 17 during a targeted operation in Hopewell, Virginia.

Deportation officers with ERO Boston arrested the 24-year-old noncitizen June 20 in West Boylston, Massachusetts.

ICE ERO Houston, with assistance from ERO Guatemala and the SAFE Task Force, removed Jose Estuardo Aguilar, a 30-year-old unlawfully present Guatemalan fugitive, from the United States June 24.

Deportation officers with ERO Boston’s Providence field office arrested Carlos Sebastian Natera-Santa on May 25 in Providence.

Operation Nazare Wave will continue throughout the summer months and is being touted as one of many examples of the effectiveness of a well-supported multiagency fugitive task force.

Those included removal flights to Central America, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guinea, Mauritania, Mexico, Peru and Senegal. If a noncitizen arrives and has no legal basis to remain in the United States they are processed and removed quickly, consistent with U.S. law.

Deportation officers with ERO Baltimore’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Nahun Ventura Ortiz-Isaguriz, 36, near his residence in Ellicott City.

On May 21, deportation officers from ERO Boston removed Ricardo Andre Barrera-Peleaz from the United States to Ecuador.

ERO Boston removed a 28-year-old unlawfully present Dominican noncitizen who is wanted by authorities in his home country for homicide charges. Deportation officers from ERO Boston removed Frank Maiky Baez-Guerrero May 14 from the United States to the Dominican Republic.

ERO Baltimore apprehended an unlawfully present 39-year-old Salvadoran national convicted of sexually assaulting a minor in Baltimore. Deportation officers from ERO Baltimore’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Luis Portillo-Henriquez June 10 in Ellicott City.
