ICE Deputy Director Daniel Ragsdale and Lieutenant General Pablo Martin Alonso of the Spanish Civil Guard signed the memorandum in Washington, D.C. The signing marks the first International Taskforce established by ICE in Europe, and outlines standards for the selection, training, and retention of personnel; guidelines for the treatment of shared information; and expectations regarding funding and equipment. ICE intends to establish separate MOCs with Spanish Customs and the Spanish National Police.

Sandra Stevenson Marks, a.k.a. Catherine Marks, 42, of Charlottesville, laundered more than $1 million in stolen funds from her victims. The plea agreement she signed Tuesday requires her to repay at least $1.2 million in restitution to the victims of her scheme.

Pacific Coast Fruit Company, which serves regional retail, wholesale, and food service customers, boasts a workforce of 450 employees – many of whom have been with the company for years. The family-owned business, which was established in 1977, is one of the largest independently-owned produce distributors in the Pacific Northwest, with a warehouse and fresh cut processing facility in Portland, and a new, state of the art distribution center in Seattle. 

Joined by Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas and DHS senior leadership, Secretary Johnson recognized four ICE employees among the 13 being honored for their courage and selfless actions that protected individuals from harm, saved another’s life, or safeguarded infrastructure in support of national security.

Clinton Coleman Jr., 47, of Miami, and six other men were arrested Aug. 13 for smuggling cocaine into south Florida. 

Rafael Alexander Henriquez, a 41-year-old citizen of El Salvador, illegally entered the United States at an unknown location and date.

Leon Lussier, 49, of Bowling Green, was arrested by criminal complaint Sept. 1, 2015, and charged by grand jury indictment Sept. 16, 2015.

Jamie Jack Collins, 40, has been in custody since his arrest in April 2015 on those charges.

Dustin Clay Trail, 35, of Jefferson City, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Stephen R. Bough to five years in federal prison.

Anthony Lamarr Sims, 21, aka “Mar Mar,” of Minneapolis, Minnesota, was sentenced to serve 14 years in prison on one count of sex trafficking children.

During the five-day operation, ERO officers arrested a total of 65 targets in and around Las Vegas and 22 in the Reno area.

Andrew Kimura, 31, of Sacramento, was formerly employed by the DMV in Sacramento as a licensing-registration examiner where he processed applications for Class A and Class B commercial driver’s licenses (CDLs) and Class C noncommercial driver’s licenses

The investigation by HSI OPR and the FBI into corruption involving government officials and immigration consultants has resulted in charges against 11 defendants. Seven of those defendants – including George Wu and Michael Bui – have now been convicted, including: Attorney Kwang Man “John” Lee; James Dominguez; and Paul Lovingood.

Jesus Gerardo Ledezma-Cepeda, aka “Chuy” and “Juan Ramos,” 59, and his cousin, Jose Luis Cepeda-Cortes, 60, were each convicted on one count of interstate stalking and one count of conspiracy to commit murder for hire. Cepeda-Cortes was also convicted on one count of tampering with documents or proceedings, which carries a maximum statutory penalty of 20 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.

The ICE Valor Memorial and Wreath Laying Ceremony is an annual event in conjunction with National Police Week, and serves to honor those employees who have lost their lives in pursuit of ICE’s mission. 

Jordan Monroe, 50, of Warwick, Rhode Island., was charged in a federal criminal complaint with receiving and distributing child pornography, and possessing and accessing with intent to view child pornography after HSI special agents allegedly discovered tens of thousands of computer files containing images and videos of alleged child pornography, on numerous computers seized from Monroe’s residence.

Six of the defendants were arrested Wednesday during a law enforcement operation that included the execution of two search warrants at residences in Shiprock and Kirtland, New Mexico.  The seventh defendant was arrested Thursday in Kingman, Arizona, by the Kingman police officers.

Stephen J. Castilleja, 27, of Prosser, was taken into custody following the execution of a federal search warrant at his residence. During that search, investigators discovered nude photographs depicting what appeared to be a minor child known to Castilleja.

Glen Kevin Winfrey, 33, of Yuma, was sentenced Wednesday and will be subject to lifetime supervision following his release from prison, including the requirement that he register as a sex offender. Winfrey pleaded guilty Aug. 11, 2015, to two counts of production of child pornography.

ICE Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents stationed in the United States, Canada, France and Netherlands were recognized by L. Carlos Linares, vice president of Anti-Piracy Legal Affairs at RIAA, for their role in aggressively pursuing a North Carolina man who had personally pirated upwards of $7 million worth of songs, albums and other copyright protected content on the websites RockDizMusic.com and RockDizFile.com before they were seized by HSI authorities in 2014.

Thomas Jaime Orozco, 35, was previously convicted of serving as the leader of a methamphetamine distribution ring based in San Joaquin County. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Amanda Beck with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California.

Hongwei “Nick” Du, 33, of Shenzhen, China, admitted Wednesday in U.S. District Court to conspiring with two El Centro residents to traffic counterfeit goods and money laundering. Du further admitted he coordinated the shipments of the Chinese-made counterfeit products in a manner designed to prevent customs officers from detecting them.

All of those arrested have been convicted of crimes in the United States, or otherwise fall within ICE’s enforcement priorities for deportation.  Convictions include the following crimes: corruption of a minor, child pornography offenses, indecent assault, robbery, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, DUI, cocaine and heroin possession, felony fraud, among other crimes.
