ICE arrests 41 noncitizens with sex offense convictions as part of nationwide law enforcement effort
ICE ERO officers apprehended 41 unlawfully present noncitizen sex offenders as part of a nationwide law enforcement effort that netted 275 noncitizens. The operation ran from Feb. 5 to Feb. 16.
ICE, a component agency of DHS, working in close coordination across the Department including with CBP, continued to facilitate removal flights of single adults and family units February 19 - 23.
The Mexican citizen unlawfully entered the United States near Weslaco in October 2017. He was detained and served with a noticed and order of expedited removal to Mexico.
