A Maryland man pleaded guilty to transporting child pornography and destruction of records in an investigation conducted by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations, and the NASA Office of Inspector General's Computer Crimes Division.
Robert Springstead of Virginia Beach, Va. was convicted of receipt, possession and distribution of images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. These charges were the result of an investigation by U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
Stephen Bee of Exeter, Mo. was sentenced in federal court Thursday for sexually exploiting a child to produce child pornography. This sentence resulted from an investigation conducted by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the Southwest Missouri Cybercrimes Task Force.
A federal grand jury returned indictments on Wednesday charging Amber Schmidt and Gary Lee Jackson of Garland, Texas with various felony child pornography offenses. The indictments allege that they used cell phones and text messaging to send images of child pornography to each other.
John Shutt of Bowie, Md., was sentenced to 90 months in federal prison for possessing and distributing child pornography. The sentence is the result of an investigation conducted by U.S. ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Shutt admitted that he had downloaded and possessed child pornography for more than 15 years and also traded images.
Gary Waffle was also ordered serve 20 years on supervised release following the completion of his sentence.
Robert Joseph Olson pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court Tuesday to distributing child pornography in a case investigated by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).In addition, Olson admitted that he possessed about 1,400 similar images, some of which portrayed sadistic or masochistic conduct or other depictions of violence against children.
A local man was sentenced on Tuesday to 17 ½ years in prison for receiving child pornography. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) led the investigation.
Timothy Murphy of Nashville, Tennessee, was sentenced on Oct. 13 to serve 72 months in prison for one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. This sentence was the result of an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Murphy's computer contained over 15,000 images of child porn.
Peter Joshua Johns, 20, is charged with two counts of receiving child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.
Nathan John Meaux was sentenced this week to serve 10 years in federal prison for receiving child pornography, following an investigation by ICE's Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). According to court documents, Meaux had been downloading and viewing child pornography for several years from his home computer.
David Helander, 64, of Brighton, N.Y., pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Charles J. Siragusa.
Christopher Anderson, 38, of Evansville, Ind., was sentenced to 126 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Larry J. McKinney. Anderson was also sentenced to a lifetime of supervised release following his release from prison.
Marcus Wilson, 52, of Livingston County, Mich., was sentenced after pleading guilty to production of child pornography and transportation of a minor with the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity. The sentence was announced by U.S. Attorney Barbara L. McQuade, Eastern District of Michigan, and Brian M. Moskowitz, special agent in charge of ICE HSI's Michigan office.

Angel Landin, 46, a former Selma, Calif., police officer was sentenced Friday to six years and eight months in prison on charges of receiving child pornography stemming from an investigation by ICE's HSI.
Aaron Martinez, 27, of Saranac, N.Y., pleaded guilty on May 10, 2011, to one count of a two count indictment charging him with production of child pornography – he was initially charged on Dec. 15, 2010. On Jan. 12, 2011, a federal grand jury indicted him on charges of production and possession of child pornography. Martinez was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Norman A. Mordue in Albany.
Eric Crosby, 37, of Tehachapi, Calif., was sentenced Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Anthony W. Ishii. In addition to the 15-year jail term, Crosby will be subject to 15 years of supervision following his release.
A former Flowood, Miss., man was sentenced in U.S. District Court to serve 97 months in federal prison for possession of child pornography, following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Flowood Police Department.
Michael Goddard, 52, of Bellingham, Wash., was sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for using a computer and cell phone to induce and entice a child for sex.
