Margarita del Carmen Orellana-Rivas assisted MS-13 gang members with the murders of Patricia Beatriz Avalos-Caceres, Orlando Moran-Alvarado and Luis Osmaro Menjivar-Landaverde.
Pedro Nel Moreno-Romero, 51, was convicted of aggravated murder in 2013 in Colombia and sentenced to 35 years imprisonment. Moreno-Romero allegedly murdered a friend, then dismembered the body with a machete and later discarded the remains in a plastic bag.
Yichun Xu was placed on a commercial flight back to China Thursday afternoon by ERO officers. The former Puget Sound Community College student came to the attention of ERO following his November 2012 arrest on multiple vehicular assault charges
Milton Xavier Zometa, 28, was flown to El Salvador Nov. 19 onboard a charter flight coordinated by ICE’s Air Operations (IAO) Unit. Upon arrival, Zometa was turned over to officials from the El Salvador’s Policia Nacional Civil (PNC).
These operations targeted enforcement in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and York areas from the last week in October through the first week in November. It is the latest effort by ERO Philadelphia to prioritize the removal of criminal aliens and egregious immigration violators.

Radu Sebastian Popa, 40, was escorted from John F. Kennedy Airport on Nov. 11 via a commercial flight. He was turned over to Romanian authorities in Bucharest, Romania.
Laureano Garcia-Zelaya, 36, entered the United States illegally in April 2004 near Eagle Pass, Texas, where he was encountered by the Border Patrol and issued a Notice to Appear before an immigration judge.
Hayatullah Dawari, 62, of Philadelphia was sentenced to two years in federal prison Sept. 19 after an investigation found the man had ties to the Hezb-e-Islami Gulbuddin anti-western insurgent group active in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Dawari pleaded guilty to two counts of immigration fraud, and the judge suspended the sentence in favor of immediate deportation.
Carlos Ivan Rivas-Castro, 22, was removed to El Salvador Wednesday aboard a charter flight coordinated by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Air Operations Unit. Upon arrival, ERO officers turned the fugitive over to representatives from the Salvadoran national police and Interpol.
Alisha Johnson, 33, was sentenced to 78 months in federal prison without parole for her actions during the incident.
Of the 62 individuals arrested, 54 had previous criminal convictions including: aggravated assault, drug possession, burglary, alien smuggling and drunken driving.
German Ardon-Zavala, 57, was removed to El Salvador Oct. 29 via government charter flight from Dallas and was turned over to officials from El Salvador’s Policia Nacional Civil (PNC).
According to the investigation, Bairon Morales-Morales was previously arrested and deported from the United States Nov. 21, 2006. He re-entered the United States illegally and was apprehended in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
Edwin Estuardo Martinez-Ortega, 18, was deported from Philadelphia Oct. 16 via ICE charter aircraft and transferred to the custody of Guatemalan law enforcement authorities at the Guatemala City International Airport.
Jose Miguel Rangel-Exiga, 40, was deported Oct. 16 and transferred to the custody of Mexican law enforcement authorities at the border crossing in Brownsville, Texas.
Romeo Mihov Ruskov, 48, was removed Oct. 14 from Chicago via commercial aircraft under ERO escort, arriving in Sofia, Bulgaria, Oct. 15. Ruskov is the subject of an Interpol Red Notice related to his conviction for raping a minor in Bulgaria. He was transferred to the custody of Bulgarian law enforcement authorities to serve an outstanding four-year prison sentence for this conviction.
Fernando Alberto Villatoro-Lizama, 23, who had been residing in Annapolis, Maryland, was escorted by ERO officers to Louisiana Oct. 6 and was repatriated onboard a charter flight coordinated by ICE’s Air Operations Unit. He was turned over to El Salvadoran authorities.
October 13 is the first day of school for about 200 children housed at the Artesia Family Residential Center (AFRC) in New Mexico, a facility operated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).
Heakyung Kim, 51, of South Korea, was admitted into the United States in March 2014 under the Visa Waiver Program with authorization to remain in the United States until June 25, but she did not depart the United States in accordance with the program.
Robert James Fox, aka Robert Fotti, 65, was escorted to the Pembina, North Dakota, Port of Entry Oct. 6 and turned over to Canadian law enforcement authorities.
Juan Morales-Boyzo, 40, was escorted to the Juarez Lincoln Port in Laredo, Texas, and turned over to Mexican law enforcement authorities (Procuraduría General de la República) Oct. 3.
Jorge Zavala-Yanes, 43, was arrested outside his place of employment in Aurora, Colorado, where he worked as a security guard. Zavala illegally possessed a loaded Glock 27 .40-caliber handgun at the time of his arrest.
