On the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica Genocide, ICE participated in an event in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Advisory Council for Bosnia and Herzegovina, to stand in solidarity with the victims and survivors.

Devon Cole Reed, 27, of Fargo, was sentenced July 9 before U. S. District Judge Ralph R. Erickson to 16 years in prison, to be followed by a lifetime of supervised release. Judge Erickson also sentenced Reed to pay $3,000 in restitution to the victims.

Trenton McLemore, 29, faces a statutory maximum penalty of not less than 10 years and up to life in federal prison, and a $250,000 fine. However, if the Court accepts the plea agreement, the appropriate term of imprisonment in this case is 252 months (21 years) in federal prison.

Bassam Arif Al Zarkani, 33, of Dumas, Texas, who has been in custody since his arrest on a related state charge in April, faces a maximum statutory penalty of 10 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
