On June 20, ERO New York City arrested Melvin Orlando Hernandez Villanueva, an unlawfully present noncitizen wanted by Salvadoran authorities for prosecution on two counts of aggravated homicide and unlawful groups.
ERO's NFOP, in coordination with the HRVWCC of HSI and ICE’s OPLA, worked with ERO in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, El Paso, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark, New York, Phoenix, Seattle, San Francisco and St. Paul to identify, locate and apprehend the known or suspected human rights violators.
These removal flights were destined to Brazil, Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, and Peru.
