ERO New York City arrests Honduran citizen convicted of leaving scene of accident resulting in death
ERO officers from the Long Island Fugitive Operations Team apprehended the 34-year-old without incident outside his residence in Hempstead pursuant to a warrant. The officers issued him a notice to appear charging him with inadmissibility. He will remain in custody pending removal proceedings.
ERO Boston officers in Providence arrested the 22-year-old Guatemalan national April 10. Local judicial authorities released the Guatemalan citizen from custody before ERO Boston was provided an opportunity to assume his custody.
Those included removal flights to Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru.
A Dominican national who was previously removed from the United States by ERO Boston has been sentenced to eight months in federal prison after illegally reentering the country.
ERO deportation officers with ERO Boston’s Hartford suboffice arrested an unlawfully present Guatemalan national convicted of first-degree manslaughter in Somers. The officers arrested the 35-year-old Guatemalan national in Somers after state officials released him following completion of a portion of his sentence for manslaughter April 24.
Discussions included End-to-end Encryption (E2EE) and law enforcement legal issues on global public safety.
ERO Philadelphia removed Jorge Chavez Montoya, a citizen of Peru with a final order of removal, from the United States to Peru on April 18.
Deportation officers removed Juvenal Arroyo Hernandez, 48, from the United States to Mexico April 25.
Deportation officers removed Cindy Patricia Quintanilla, 35, a citizen of El Salvador, from the United States to El Salvador April 24.
Santos Alfredo Ixchop-Hernandez, a 39-year-old unlawfully present Guatemalan national, was flown on a charter flight coordinated by ICE’s Air Operations Unit from the Alexandria International Airport in Alexandria, Louisiana, to the La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Dominican national recently arrested by Rhode Island police on multiple felony drug trafficking charges. ERO Boston officers in Providence arrested the 28-year-old April 18.
On April 23, a federal grand jury returned a four-count indictment charging former Mexican citizen Felix Aguilar-Matias with naturalization and passport fraud.
David Antonio Hernandez Ventura, 26, departed from McFarland and arrived at the San Ysidro Port of Entry, where he was handed over to authorities from Mexico.
Those included removal flights to Brazil, Central America, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Jamaica and Mexico.
Deportation officers from ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Guatemalan national recently arrested for first-degree sexual assault in Hartford April 18. The 53-year-old Guatemalan native has multiple criminal convictions in New York and Connecticut for offenses including second-degree strangulation, driving while intoxicated and domestic assault.
ERO Baltimore arrested a Salvadoran national convicted of accessory to murder and weapons charges in Baltimore.
Deportation officers from ERO New York City’s Fugitive Operations Team apprehended Brayan Freites-Macias, 21, near his residence in New York City on April 24.
U.S. Border Patrol apprehended the Ecuadoran national in May 2015, after he unlawfully entered the United States in Texas without authorization.
Deportation officers from ERO Boston arrested the 30-year-old Ecuadoran national April 4 at his residence in Worcester.
ERO Washington, D.C. apprehended a Honduran national charged locally for sex crimes against a Virginia minor. Deportation officers from ERO Washington’s Mobile Criminal Apprehension Team arrested the 30-year-old Honduran noncitizen April 15 at his residence in Bladensburg, Maryland.
Luis Enrique Villalpando Villagomez, 28, departed from Las Vegas, Nevada, and arrived at California’s San Ysidro Port of Entry, where officials transferred him into the custody of authorities from Mexico.
Nilson Doblado Doblado, 47, departed from Las Vegas, Nevada, and arrived at the San Pedro Sula airport in Honduras, where he was handed over to authorities.
ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Brazilian national who has been charged in Worcester with assault and weapons charges.
Consistent with ICE protocols, the appropriate components were notified about the death, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Inspector General, and the ICE Office of Professional Responsibility.
Those included removal flights to Central America, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Haiti, Mexico and Peru. If a noncitizen arrives and has no legal basis to remain in the United States they will be processed and removed quickly, consistent with U.S. law.
