Joshua David Evans of North Bend, Wash. and Jeremy Lynn Andrew of Eugene, Ore., pleaded guilty on Tuesday for their roles in NinjaVideo.net, a website that provided millions of users with the ability to illegally download infringing copies of copyright-protected movies and television programs in high-quality formats.
Stephanie A. McCloskey, 39, pleaded guilty in November 2010 to a federal charge of conspiracy to traffic in counterfeit goods and to commit mail fraud, and she subsequently cooperated with authorities.
A three-month operation conducted by 43 countries has resulted in the seizure of more than one million counterfeit electrical goods. This operation was spearheaded in the United States by the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center), in coordination with the World Customs Organization (WCO).
