ICE HSI joins law enforcement panel for Leadership Tampa Bay

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) Tampa acting Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Kevin Sibley was joined the local FBI SAC Mike McPherson and Tampa International Airport Police Department (TIAPD) Police Chief Charlie Vazquez for a law enforcement panel supporting Leadership Tampa Bay. The event was chaired by HSI Tampa Citizens Academy Alumni Shay Romaine, also at the table.

TAMPA – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigation (HSI) Tampa acting Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Kevin Sibley joined the local FBI SAC and Tampa International Airport Police Department (TIAPD) Police Chief for a law enforcement panel supporting Leadership Tampa Bay.

Sibley joined Tampa FBI SAC Mike McPherson and Chief Charlie Vazquez from TIAPD in speaking with more than 50 members of Leadership Tampa Bay about law enforcement successes and challenges in the Tampa Bay region.

The law enforcement day was chaired by Shay Romaine, a Leadership Tampa Bay and HSI Tampa Citizens Academy alumni.

Leadership Tampa Bay promotes the prosperity and vitality of the Tampa Bay region, enlightening local leaders to the importance of the area in the state of Florida. The group engages members with businesses and community leaders to enhance knowledge of regional assets and issues. The program is designed not only to identify our regional strengths and build on them, but to delve into issues facing the region and explore ways to bridge differences.
